Movies, like “Back to the Future”, and books about worm holes, like “Alice in Wonderland,” are about traveling back to the past. It may be possible in the future to travel to the past to meet your ancestors. One day someone may come to your door and say that they are your great, great granddaughter, so don’t slam the door in their face.

No one has successfully demonstrated that time travel exists. Einstein’s’ “Special Relativity Theory” has paradoxical solutions to an equation for linking time and space. Einstein didn’t really believe in time travel; however, his assistant, Kurt Gurdal, did. In 1948, Gurdal calculated that time travel would require the energy of an exploding star so that you could travel at the speed of light. That amount of energy isn’t possible on Earth; however, it does exist is outer space. Since mankind is making space travel a reality, time travel may be a possibility soon.

Occam’s Razor is a theory that the simplest explanation has the fewest assumptions and is often the truth. This theory asks the question, “What would happen if you went back in time and killed your grandfather?” Then you would have changed the future making your trip to past non-existing.

However, you are always traveling through time. Time travel is more real than you realize. Moments of time last, well, only for a moment; then they are the past. This means that with every minute that passes, you are moving through time.
